WHY THE PHILIPPINES?

Our New Zealand clients can’t get enough of their Filipino workers; hardworking, loyal, skilled, a constant willingness to learn coupled with a friendly attitude makes them fit in with the culture of New Zealand workplaces. As every month goes by the feedback improves. In a tight labour market, our workers form a critical role in giving employers a guarantee around a stable work force.

THEY’RE SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED

Most of our workers have a minimum five years’ experience in their field and two years’ international work experience. Working overseas is embedded in the Filipino culture and these workers are known as Overseas Foreign Workers – working overseas is what they do.

All our workers are skill-tested at our skill assessment centre in Manila and most employers fly up to assess them personally. We provide all the equipment.

FITTING IN WITH THE CULTURE

This question is asked often as we are all protective of our culture. Our employers include some of the most well-known companies in New Zealand and their feedback has only been positive on this subject. A recent survey by culture connection showed Filipino’s to be New Zealand’s happiest migrants.

WHEN CAN THEY START?

It will take four weeks to source CV’s and fly to Manila, assess the workers and make offers. From job offer it normally takes approximately 12 weeks before the worker lands. This is not a short term fix. This is an excellent solution for employers who have long term projects and long term shortfalls.

ENGLISH IS THEIR SECOND LANGUAGE

English is one of two official languages in the Philippines so most Filipinos speak English.

CPB

“Our Company became involved with Working International Resourcing in early 2019 as we looked at ways to help us combat the shortfall of professional class 5 drivers in NZ. From the beginning, it felt like we were in a partnership with WIR, not just a client. The team looked after all our needs, providing CV’s, answered many questions and provided us with a solution to our problem. The team left us with no stones unturned right from the outset. I would have no hesitation in recommending Working International Resourcing to any Employer who wants to recruit overseas with an Ethical Recruitment Company.”
